Substitute Teachers Wanted!

We are looking for substitute teachers who understand that a lost right shoe can be a national crisis and that glitter is something you live with for weeks after a shift in the studio.

To step into our wonderful world and spread calm, joy, and structure when one of us is absent. You have a good chance of becoming that fun/safe/crazy/nice/crafty/quick or “playful” adult that children talk about at the dinner table when they come home.

What Makes the Job Extra Challenging (and Important)?

When you are contacted early in the morning, it is because one or more of the preschool's puzzle pieces are suddenly missing. A safe and important person in the child's preschool day is absent, and you have big shoes to fill.

Once on site, it may feel a bit chaotic and messy, and we appreciate that you ask questions that are helpful for you so that you can quickly get started in the work where you are most needed. Throughout the day, things will become clearer, and you can trust that the colleagues around you appreciate your presence!

Working as a substitute in preschool is like taking an intensive course in personal development. By working in different teams and with different groups of children, you encounter several educational working methods and approaches that, despite their differences, lead and strive towards the same goal. You will develop your relational competence, your curiosity, and your ability to quickly read situations and make wise decisions in the moment.

Moreover, it gives you the opportunity to participate in work among the most important people there are!

Important Facts

As a substitute, you should be able to step in at short notice in case of absence of the regular staff. Our wish is that you can be on site within an hour when we call. Therefore, check your travel route before sending an application. The addresses of the preschools are Lövhagsvägen 8 and Sanduddsvägen 12. You do not need to be available every day to be interesting to us, and it is always you who decides whether you can take the shifts offered.

You will work both indoors and outdoors and need to bring your own shoes and clothes for all weather.

You should have good knowledge of the Swedish language and be able to easily collaborate and work independently in the assignments you are assigned on site.

Employment Form

The position is a general fixed-term employment as needed. Pay type: hourly wage. Start date according to agreement.
